haven't personally vetted every store listed here. Please buy from shops you trust (and won't steal your lunch money).
PC and Monitors
Before we dive into the full setup, let’s talk specs. I built this PC as a desperate solution to constant crashes, blue screens, and endless stream F's, hoping to squash as many technical issues as possible.
Did it work? Mostly... but the tech scene is relentless. It feels impossible to keep up sometimes. Why game developers assume the average player has a NASA supercomputer just to run a title at 60fps is beyond me. DO BETTER, STUDIOS. GAMING IS FOR EVERYONE.
GPU
NVIDIA RTX 5070
Features next-gen Tensor Cores for AI acceleration and dedicated RT Cores for real-time ray tracing. Supports AV1 encoding for high-quality streaming at lower bitrates and DLSS for maximising framerates at high resolution.

Case
NZXT H6 Flow Mid-Tower Case (White)
A dual-chamber ATX mid-tower with three pre-installed 120mm fans angled at the front for directed airflow. The wraparound tempered glass panels provide unobstructed visibility while the dual-chamber layout hides cables and the PSU.

Power Supply
Seasonic Focus GX-850
850-watt, 80 PLUS Gold certified unit with 90% efficiency at 50% load. It is fully modular to reduce cable clutter and utilises a fluid dynamic bearing fan with a hybrid silent mode for quiet operation.

Primary Monitor Acer Nitro XV272U
Mount Hemudu Monitor Stand
27-inch IPS display with WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution and an overclockable refresh rate up to 170Hz. Features 0.5ms (G-to-G) response time, AMD FreeSync Premium, and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Secondary Monitor HP Omen 24" (165 Hz)
23.8-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time. Supports AMD FreeSync Premium and covers 99% of the sRGB and 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space.
Peripherals
I needed a mouse and keyboard that was responsive enough for shooters and off stream play, with good battery life and aesthetically pleasing enough to fit the vibe. If it doesn't sound 'thocky' or glide perfectly, I don't want it.
Mouse
Razer Viper Ultimate
A lightweight 74g wireless gaming mouse featuring the Razer Focus+ 20,000 DPI optical sensor for 99.6% resolution accuracy. It utilises optical mouse switches for a 0.2ms response time and offers up to 70 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Keyboard
Ducky One 3 Series (Matcha)
A hot-swappable mechanical keyboard featuring "Quack Mechanics" for superior acoustics and stability. It is equipped with stain-resistant PBT double-shot keycaps and tuned stabilisers to ensure a solid typing experience without unwanted rattle.

Audio
They say audio is 50% of the video, but on Twitch, it feels like 90%. You can watch a pixelated stream, but nobody sticks around for bad sound. This setup is designed to capture every whisper (and scream) clearly while blocking out the chaos of the outside world
Headphones
Sony WH-1000XM4 Noise Cancelling Headphones
Industry-leading active noise cancelling headphones featuring dual noise sensor technology and 40mm drivers for high-resolution audio. They offer up to 30 hours of battery life, multipoint connection for pairing two devices simultaneously, and wearing detection that pauses playback automatically.

Audio Interface
Sonicake Sonicube II
A compact 2-channel USB audio interface delivering 24-bit/48kHz audio resolution with a high dynamic range. It features built-in 48V phantom power for condenser microphones, a Hi-Z input for instruments, and direct monitor control for zero-latency tracking.

Speakers
Edifier Compact MR4 2.0 (42W)
Studio monitor speakers designed for near-field listening, housing a 1-inch silk dome tweeter and a 4-inch woofer for 42W RMS total power output. They feature dual sound modes (Monitor/Music) and a wooden MDF cabinet to minimise acoustic resonance and vibration.

Microphone
RØDE PodMic Dynamic Microphone
A broadcast-quality dynamic microphone optimised for speech applications with a tight cardioid polar pattern to reduce room noise. It features an integrated internal pop filter to minimise plosives and an internal shock mounting system to reduce vibration.

RØDE WS14 Premium Pop Filter
A deluxe high-density foam pop filter specifically engineered for the RØDE PodMic to ensure crystal-clear audio capture. It fits securely over the microphone capsule to effectively halt hard plosive sounds ('p' and 'b') without affecting audio transparency.

RØDE PSA1+ Professional Studio Arm
Offering sleek looks, completely silent operation, ultra-smooth movement, and superior isolation from knocks, bumps, and keyboard or mouse clicks, the PSA1+ is the ultimate mount for your microphone.
Vlogging/IRL Streaming Microphone

A dual-channel wireless system featuring two transmitters and a receiver, all equipped with built-in microphones for multi-person recording. Utilises Series IV 2.4GHz transmission for a 100m range and features intelligent GainAssist to automatically optimise audio levels for cameras and smartphones.
Video Capture
Moving from a standard webcam to a mirrorless setup was the biggest jump in production value. It’s about creating that depth and clarity that makes you feel like you're actually in the room. Is 4K capture necessary for a compressed livestream? Probably not. Do I love it anyway? Absolutely
Main Camera

Sony ZV-1F Vlog Camera
Features a large 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor (20.1 MP) and a wide-angle 20mm f/2.0 prime lens ideal for capturing the full scene. It supports 4K recording, Eye AF for precise focus tracking, and a Product Showcase setting for instant focus transitions.

Elgato Cam Link 4K
A compact HDMI to USB 3.0 adapter that turns DSLR, camcorder, or action cams into a high-fidelity webcam. It captures video at up to 4K resolution at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps with ultra-low latency technology for seamless broadcasting.
Secondary Camera

Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra
Equipped with a 1/1.2" Sony Starvis 2 sensor and a wide f/1.7 aperture lens for DSLR-like image quality and background blur. It captures uncompressed 4K video at 30 fps and supports HDR to balance lighting in high-contrast environments.
Console Capture Card

Elgato 4K60 Pro
An internal PCIe capture card featuring HDMI 2.1 input and output for next-gen console support. It allows for 4K60 HDR capture while passing through high-refresh-rate signals up to 4K at 144Hz or 1080p at 240Hz with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support.
Lighting
You can have the most expensive camera on the market, but without good lighting, it will still look like a potato. This section isn't just about visibility; it's about atmosphere and the cozy vibe the colours bring with it.
And that’s the list!
If you made it this far, you officially know more about my computer than I do on most days. This setup is always a work in progress, but for now, this is the engine behind the madness.
I hope this helps anyone looking to upgrade their own battle station! Keep an eye out for my next post where I’ll dive into my software, covering everything from OBS plugins to the specific bots I use to make the stream interactive.
See you in chat!
